We just photographed a really interesting wedding in Olympia — this is one of the portraits we took of Ben and Junko shortly before the ceremony. The wedding was held at Ben's family church and was officiated by his dad, one of the church's pastors. They were a bit concerned about how the photos would turn out because they felt the church was not very photogenic. While that may have been true, we were still able to find and artistically utilize several interesting features.
Junko and her family are from Japan so the ceremony was bilingual. The volley between the pastor and translator gave the event an interesting and unusual flavor that we enjoyed.
