We are always thrilled when clients select our Watch Me Grow packages, which bundle several portrait sessions together for a chapter-by-chapter look at a child's first year. By the time the sessions are all done, we feel like we know the ins-and-outs of the family, and have new friends to boot. Such is the case with little Kade and his big brothers Dane and Ryan. This was our second Watch Me Grow package with the family, and it's been wonderful to see these little tykes grow up. 
Kade's latest session celebrated his first birthday with a meet-up at Point Defiance Park. Although Kade was clearly rationing his smiles, we still got a lot of great shots of the little guy and his brothers. 
We started at Owen Beach, where Kade decided that sitting by the Sound wasn't quite good enough ... only a dunk in the cold water would do! 
After the beach, we headed to the colorful Rose Garden, where my trusty laughing bumblebee toy (always stashed in my bag, just in case) prompted a few extra smiles. 
While Watch Me Grows are most typical for early infancy and the first year, it's not exclusively the case. We'll offer bundled sessions for older children and families, too. Kade, keep those smiles coming! We can't wait to join the family again when it's time for your next shoot.
